Vanavond ben ik heel even bezig geweest met het experiment Brown paper. Ik denk dat ik daar het verkeerde papier voor heb gebruikt. Beryl heeft het over het de papieren zakken van de supermarkt, maar dat kennen we in Nederland niet. In plaats daarvan had ik dus bruin kaftpapier gepakt. Er moest eerst een laagje vliesofix over en dan foil. Ik heb al gemerkt dat ik soms een beetje ongeduldig ben wat het foil betreft, ik haal het er vaak te snel af. Je moet echt wachten tot het foil afgekoeld is. Dat ging bij het pakpapier dus niet op. Het begon al heel snel te scheuren, toch zijn de stukken waar het wel lukte wel heel mooi dus heb ik er ATC’s van gemaakt. Dat komt op het moment wel mooi uit, ik heb momenteel een aantal swaps lopen.

So I used a wrapping-paper instead. It needed a layer of Vilene first, and than you had the put the foil on it. I noticed already that I am a bit impatient about the foil, often I remove it to soon. You have to wait till it is cooled down. Well, this didn’t work for the wrapping-paper either. It tears very quickly, although the pieces where the foil sticked are very nice, so I made some ATC’s with it. That suite me fine at the moment, I am involved in a lot of ATC swaps.

Your ATC's look wonderful. very sensative and the fiol is just enough without being overpowering. I think you experiments are great and a super source for others to be inspired by.
I do think you're very hard on yourself at times, but I recognise that too, it's the perfectionist that lurks within, and draws us on to do greater things!
Even though these 'teased' you I really love them and think the result is great!
