Why do women have so often headaches? You don’t hear man complain about this, but most women recognize this. I just managed to apply the foil yesterday and then went to bed right away. I couldn’t do preparations on the next experiment Etching into Velvet anymore. So that’s for tonight. Off course I have a wish list of experiments, next to this book. The list is very long and contains also a lot of paper techniques. I have to make some time for it and put everything in writing, I also have to put some attention on my archives; the experiments are all over my study. Without good instructions they don’t mean anything. I also wanted to tell something about a book I bought this summer:
Collage Source Book. The book contains a lot subjects; paper collage; fabric collage; found objects; assemblage; photo transfers, some “famous” names too: Nina Bagley, Lynn Perella, Sandra Donabed and a lot more. There are a lot of beautiful pictures in it and lovely work. For everyone who loves mixed media it’s really a must. At the moment I like collage, whether it is paper or fabric. It doesn’t make any difference for me, the only thing that matters is that I am doing something creative and stay creative!

So sorry to hear you are suffering again Jacqueline. I hope you feel better soon.
I like your sample from yesterday. As you know I am working with foil at the moment - its a really nice medium to work with, so many possibilities.
And I also have this book - another good one.
Its fascinating reading all about your experiments.
I hope you feel better soon.
Why women have headache and not men ?
Because we do use our brain more?!
Hi!
I hope you are feeling well very soon because your posts have really made me very happy today. Since I returned from London, I've been so terribly busy and therefore got even further behind on my blog reading than ever before. Today I reserved for just reading your posts. It has been absolutely wonderful to see how your experimentations have been going, to read all your comments and to gain insights into how you work. I particularly like how you share the things that don't work, how you alter the suggestions found in books, and how much energy you have. I've learned a lot. Thank you ever so much for caring and for sharing!
Susan
