No Name Series II

I had the plan to make a series of 9 from the No Name Series, but it’s so difficult! I get the tendency to use the same colours and fabrics. Actually I don’t want them to look so much alike but automatically it turns out that way. In the mean time I gave them a back. Now I have to find something, so I can hang them. I gave them a temporary hanger from iron wire but I am not completely satisfied with it. I think it is too thin. I am also thinking about hanging some embellishments on it….. What do you think?

Overdaad schaad? Hoe groot zijn ze?

They both look great Jacqueline and the colour is fantastic.

Hi!
I like the little wire hanger. There's something "urban" about the thin wire...like the nameless grafitti in large cities. The wire looks quite appropriate in scale, color, and design for the images. It doesn't over power your stitching, your fabric, your texture, and your colors. I like the pieces very much....just as they appear! Please share more of them!

I totally agree with Susan. They look amazing as they are. I don't think they need any further embellishments. These are going to look really good as a series.

these are wonderful Jaqueline, I think they look great as they are, and I am sure whatever way you choose to finish them they will look good

These are so interesting and look great how you've framed them. I also like the wire.

I agree with everyone else - they don't need any extra embellishment and the wore hanger looks just right. Seeing the series altogether will be very effective I think. Debbi B (who is catching up on days and days of your blog!!)
