Part II






En hier is de ondergrond met acrylverf er op. Overigens zijn het er twee geworden, ik heb de ondergrond in tweeën gedeeld. Je kunt wel duidelijk zien door wie ik geïnspireerd ben. Een van mijn meest favoriete schilders is Anselm Kiefer. Het is jammer dat zijn boeken enorm duur zijn en moeilijk te verkrijgen dus leen ik ze regelmatig van de bibliotheek en verleng ze iedere keer. Ik vind het mooi hoe de stof de verf niet volledig opneemt. Deze keer heb ik hier ook bewust mee gespeeld. Bij het opzetten van de tweede laag vanmorgen, heb ik slechts gedeelten opnieuw beschilderd zodat de onderliggende kleur toch doorschemert.

And this are the final pieces. There are two of them now because I cut the background in half. You can see by whom I am inspired. One of my favourite painters is Anselm Kiefer. It is a pity that his books are so expensive and very hard to get. So I borough them from the library en extend them every time. I like it how the fabric doesn’t absorb the paint completely. This time I played with this fact on purpose. When I put the second layer of paint on it this morning, I left some areas unpainted so the underneath laying colour shines true.
