Hier en daar zit mijn werk even volledig vast. Waar ik me zou moeten concentreren op het werk wat mee moet naar Frankrijk ben ik van alles en nog wat uit de kast aan het trekken waar ik me eigenlijk niet mee bezig zou moeten houden. Ik zit dus gewoon een beetje te prutsen terwijl ik serieus aan het werk zou moeten zijn. Het ene idee na het andere blijft opkomen maar opschieten doet het dus niet. Ik vond dit kleine borduurwerk tussen mijn opgestapelde “werk wat ooit nog eens af moet” Wat ik er grappig aan vind zijn de langwerpige ‘boontjes”maar wat was ik er ook al weer mee van plan? Mijn nieuwe potjes Pearl-ex, en daar ligt nog foil daar zou ik ook nog iets mee gaan doen…. Even een stukje proberen…..Aaaaaaaaaaahhhhh…Ik wordt geloof ik langzaam gek…………Volgende week zaterdag zijn we echt weg voor twee weken en ik heb nog niets voorbereid….Ik moet mijn reis naaimachine nog helemaal nakijken, mijn garenkoffer aanvullen, boeken bij elkaar zoeken, misschien moet ik ook kleding meenemen ha, ha, klink ik al paniekerig?
At this moment my work is a little stuck. Where I should concentrate on the work that I have to take with me to France; I am taking things out of the closet where I shouldn’t. I just sit here, spoiling time, where I should be seriously working. One idea after the other keeps coming but it isn’t progressing very hard. I found this little embroidered piece between my piles of “work that I have to finish someday” What I like are the funny little ‘beans’ but what did I want to do with it? My new yars of Pearl-ex, and there is some foil that I could use for……? Let’s have a try…………Aaaaaaaaaaahhhhhh….. I am loosing it ……Next week on Saturday we are really gone for two weeks and I haven’t prepared anything yet…I have to check on my sewing machine, complete my threads trunk, find some books to read, maybe I have to take some clothes with me ha, ha, do I sound panicking yet?

Jacqueline--pack all the important things first and then squeeze in any clothes that will fit.
It will all come together for you. These pieces you found are beautiful! How about postcards for your friends while on your trip : )

Hi Jacqueline - this post really made me laugh! I think it comes from having so many choices and desires - I know I often wonder why I haven't just settled on one thing and finished it, rather than jumping around all over the place trying different things. You'll have a great holidy anyway with whatever your stuff into your bags! Debbi B
