Over stempels gesproken, dit boek kocht ik een poos geleden. Het was echt een verrassing! Ik had het ongezien besteld. Leuke projecten, mooie foto’s, een beetje in de stijl van Sheril Kahn. Het begint direct te kriebelen als je dit ziet! Wat ik ook leuk er aan vind, is de iets rustigere kleuren. Ik vind de boeken van Sheril Kahn fantastisch, maar het is niet echt mijn kleurgebruik, dit past me beter. Er wordt ook genoeg aandacht aan het zelf maken van stempels besteed. Dus ik ben direct weer heel enthousiast aan de slag gegaan. Leuk karweitje om buiten te doen, ik heb alles in één schilderskoffer zitten, makkelijk om op schoot te zetten.
Talking about stamps, this book I bought a while ago. It really was a surprise! I ordered it blind so did not know what to expect. Nice projects, beautiful pictures, a bit in the Sheril Kahn style. It immediately starts to tickle when you see this! What I also like about the book, are the more peaceful colours. I really like the books of Sheril Kahn, but these are not really my colours, this suits me better. There is a lot of attention for stamp making in the book. So I directly have picked up stamp making again. It is such a nice work to do outside, I have put everything in a painters chest, that’s easy to use on you’re lap.

This book is sitting next to my computer right now. I borrowed it from the library and I will probably buy it. I like Sherrill Kahn's techniques and enjoy looking at the color palette she uses but I find her colors too vibrant to work with for my projects.
