Sketchbook

A while ago I mentioned that I make these little drawings from ideas I get, and often forget what I was gonna do with that. Today I found another couple of drawings (it seems that I draw them everywhere and I leave them lying about everywhere, it is maddenning) So I got a good intention, I am official starting a sketchbook. In the style of Kay Greenlees. I started first with a drawing of the fabricbook that I am working on, but if you are not used to make notes all the time from what you're plans are, it is difficult. It shall be an advantage eventually because a lot of ideas keep stored? Now I have to make sure that it gets a regular place where I can find it easily otherwise I still keep finding pieces of scrap paper. And how about a nice cver in style?

Hmm, that's another idea...

Good idea Jacqueline-I must start a sketch book also because like you I find those bits of paper and wonder what they are for.
I must be due to see a new "princess" photo soon.

You won't know yourself Jacqueline! I just use spiral notebooks and have one near every spot I sit in the house plus next to the bed and one in my handbag. It is the only way I can avoid the scraps of paper syndrome. It does work and means those fleeting ideas do get remembered rather than just passing through!

Hi!
I have scraps of paper all over the place too. Some of the scraps are on small pieces of mat board too....along with measurements and telephone messages and lists of things I need to order for the shop. It is quite maddening. I have a notebook in my purse ALL THE TIME....but I can never seem to use this as a sketchbook or a notebook, except when on vacation. On vacation, I ALWAYS use my notebook. I sketch, write, and take notes. When I'm not on vacation, I end up with all the scraps of paper.

If you figure out a way to USE the notebook instead of the scraps, please let me know!
