Another one from the archives

:-) Vanavond in ieder geval weer eens lekker werken.

Yesterday was the end from my exhibition; we had a little party afterwards. It was very nice. When we came home again, a lot of work had to be done. Cutting the invisible threads from the hanging, removing sticks and finding a place to store them. After all this it was very late. Little by little this storing is causing a problem. I made during the years over the 150 pieces, and the last pieces I made can’t be folded, so the need to hang. I also made a lot of small works that needs a place to store. I should have a large sale….:-) Tonight I finally can get some work done. I have organize things; make a few goals for myself. I want to take part of some foreign exhibitions next year. That means I have to plan things, like deadlines etc. So, not a new picture today but another one from the archives.

Hi!
Storage is a big problem here too...especially since so much of the work is in frames. I often take the work out of the frames, reuse the frames for other things, and shrink wrap the art. Now, of course, the bins with the shrink wrapped work is overflowing. Thankfully, our ground floor is our store. Still, I've got "stuff" everywhere.

Do you keep a catalog of your work? I do but even that gets difficult to manage!

Beautiful piece Jacqueline, wonderful texture. Are you relieved now that your exhibition is over and it was a success? I like Susans idea of keeping a catalogue of your work.
