Stranded :-)

Naaimachine in ieder geval, schetsboek? Fototoestel in ieder geval.

I go on a holiday and I’ll take with me….(that is a game that children are playing over here) Well, I don’t know actually, I am still doubting. It is only a week and I don’t want to take too much with me. Sewing machine for sure, sketchbook? That maybe fun but with what, crayons? And which book do I take with me, that is a tough one, I have so many books that I haven’t read. Camera off course. Notebook, DVD’s….the list is growing already. It is so hard to make a choice. The past weeks I finished a lot of work, so I can start all over again (I guess…) In the last issue of Cloth, Paper and Scissors there was a question: If you go knew you where going to be straded on a desert island, What One art supply would you take with you and what One natural item would you want to be available on the island so you could create" I am sure I wouldn’t succeed, I have thought about it for a while but I want to take everything! I can’t limit myself. These are some of the sandwiches I’ll take with me. At the moment I have a clue how to quilt them.

I am just the same Jacqueline. We are going on holiday next week and I am already gathering far too many things to take with me. I worry that I will run out of sewing if I don't take several projects with me but then bring half of it back not worked on. I would be useless packing for a desert island! Your sandwiches look exciting. Enjoy them!

Love your samples. I always take heaps of things with me. More art materials than clothes, most of the time it comes home unused, but you just never know, you might need it.
