Purchases

Last weekend I spend more than I earned I’m afraid :-) On the different quilt stand I can’t find much material anymore but on the Creative Market, that was in the adjoining hall I could find lots of material. First I bought the Big Bite, which is the big brother from the Crop-a Dile, only this one is more improved so you have a better range. Because I still find the Crop-a Dile one of my best purchases I had to buy the big one too. (For those who don’t know what it is, it’s is a large pincers to cut holes and is also great to apply eyelets) The Kantbloem (a local store) is closing and had a lot of things on sale, I bought a lot of embroidery yarn, and especially the metallic yarn is beautiful. There was also a stand where you could fill bags with beads for just one euro, couldn’t resist that. I bought a lot of paper but not much for a picture? Big letter stamps, pre-cut ATC cards, a wax stamp (to seal letters) nice splits, the head looks like a nail….what more…..I am a large user from Trapsuutjies myself, so I had to refill my stock again, and Laura had this beautiful pearl paint that I could try out this weekend, so I had to had that too. Enough to play the coming weeks….

Wow!! you did have a major spend-up, you lucky thing!! The gaint crop-a dial looks extremley useful with that long reach, and the beads were an amazing buy.

Lots of goodies here Jacqueline. I'm tempted by your 'Big Bite'. I just bought the 'Mixed Emulsions' book as recommended. Its fabulous. One of the best books I have bought recently. Thanks for the heads up on that one.
