ATC's and TIF April

These ATC's where made by Viola, she is a very talented lady, I love her work and her use of colour!

Deze maand is de opdracht van TIF: How do you see a change?

This month assignment for TIF: How do you see a change? Wow, that’s a tough one….it depends what kind of change I think? Sharon gave two examples p.e. change in a personal matter; the one that people call easily a midlife crisis. That’s how it works I guess, we all got a period in our life that you would be glad with a change and really welcome it, that caught some strange reactions. Maybe the point that you start to panic, when you get older and think of what you
want to do in life, so little time? I got that feeling when I’m thinking on the fact that I have to work till I am 65, twenty more years of work stress? That is one of the moments I really want a change in my life, when I come to think of it. I start to dream of a little farm on the French country side :-) I think that is what Sharon means. When would I not be pleased with a change? Hmm…mostly when the change is not really my choice but forced by someone else. This has to do with my work, but it is not wise to tell more here. But how do I translate this in a work, how do I translate it in my work? My work has gone threw a change after all this years and I think that’s I good thing. Otherwise I stood stand still in my development, I never wanted to just simply make patterns. I need the creativity and challenge. So in that way I look very positive at changes. BINGO, while I am writing the idea comes in my head: I am gonna do something with positive/ negative! Maybe I can also use two colours of the colour scheme too? TIF is really good for my thinking process I noticed, I am forced to think in a whole different way and I love it when another idea comes along. This is easier to me than a normal theme, with a normal theme I start to think literally, on TIF I think more figurative. I am so glad I signed in!

I like the way your thoughts have run on until you reached a decision on what you want to do. I think I will try working my way through an idea by writing it all down instead of trying to store it in my head - always a mistake :))

Great idea. You have helped me to start thinking. This is a difficult challenge so far. I like your idea of positive/negative. I thought to use one or the other. I still don't know what to do but it was good to hear your thoughts about it.

I love those ATCs. Living on a farm in the French countryside sounds very romantic. I think I could handle that. Creating all day....mmmmm
