Dit is het eerste India project in stof. Er komen er nog een aantal aan maar omdat het ook onderdeel van een groter project/ tentoonstelling gaat worden kan ik ze niet allemaal laten zien. Ik heb een aantal dagen in de bibliotheek doorgebracht op zoek naar informatie over India (voor mij niet echt een straf, wij hebben in Middelburg een prachtige bibliotheek met een heel grote collectie) daar heb ik een fotoboek van Rajesthan meegenomen. Prachtige foto’s, precies de sfeer die ik zocht, warme kleuren….mooie weefsels, stoffen….ik ben er helemaal weg van en wat doe je dan als boeken freak: natuurlijk direct besteld…….:-)

This is the first India project in fabric. There will be more but because it is part of a larger project/ exhibition I can’t show them all. I spend a couple of days in the library, searching for information about India (it is not a punishment for me, we have such a beautiful library in Middelburg with a very large collection) I brought a picture book with me about Rajesthan. Beautiful pictures, exactly the atmosphere I was looking for, warm colours….gorgeous weaving, fabrics….I adore it and what do you do as a real book addict: you order it immediately….:-)
