Ik ben een beetje omgekeerd aan het werk op het moment. Normaal bouw je eerst je toplaag op en gaat daarna het geheel pas quilten. Nu heb ik eerst de lagen gequilt en ga daar na het werk verder opbouwen zodat het quiltwerk er onder ligt. Ik heb het idee nog niet helemaal in mijn hoofd maar het is ook puur een experiment.
I am a bit working in the wrong direction at the moment. Normally you design the top of the piece first and than quilt the whole piece. Now I have quilted the layers first and than work on the piece, so that the quiltwork in under the design. I don’t have the idea completely in my head, but it is only an experiment till now.

Wat een goed idee! Ik vind het zo zonder verdere bewerking ook al erg mooi.....

Lovely colours and textures. I like your idea of doing the quilting first.
Volgens mij heb ik in het boek van linda en laura kemshall geleze dat zij het dan bewerken met painsticks.
