Under construction part II

Gisteravond de tweede stap van het project waar ik overigens nog geen naam voor heb. Zal vanzelf wel komen. Het stukje op zich is niet zo heel groot dus ik heb geprobeerd oplossing hiervoor te vinden. Dus ik ben alle boxen uit gaan spitten op zoek naar stof die er bij past. Uiteindelijk is het geen stof geworden maar papier. De kleur was precies wat ik zocht, enige nadeel is dat papier veel slapper is dus ik moest ook op zoek naar iets om het te verstevigen. Uiteindelijk heb ik voor vilt gekozen en nu zit ik nog te dubben of ik daar nog een achterkant aan toe voeg. Ik heb ook een stukje vilt op de achterkant van de rode stof gedaan zodat het iets hoger komt te liggen. Vanavond ga ik eens kijken hoe ik dit ga borduren. Of misschien moet ik nog iets toevoegen?

Yesterday I took the second step from the project, for which I don’t have a name yet. It will come. The piece on its own is not so big so I tried to find a solution for that. I went threw all my boxes to find a fabric that matches. Finally I didn’t choose a paper, not a fabric. The colour was exactly what I wanted; the only disadvantage is that paper is not so firm so I have to find something to clinch it. I choose felt to firm it and now I doubt if I will add another background. I also added a piece of felt on the back of the red fabric, so that is more lifted. Tonight I am gonna look how to embroider this. Or maybe I have to add something more?
