Vandaag was ik zomaar een beetje aan het rommelen op mijn werkkamer. Ik had niet echt een plan, dat komt omdat het momenteel gewoon te druk is. Gisteren de hele dag op de markt gestaan in verband met de gemeente raadsverkiezingen met in mijn achterhoofd het idee dat het na 3 maart allemaal over is en ik weer zeeën van tijd zal hebben, viel dat even tegen…..Zoals het er nu uitziet kunnen we nog wel tot juni campagne gaan voeren!!!! Er gebeurd momenteel zoveel dat het moeilijk concentreren is. Ik ben dus aan de slag gegaan met een van de lapjes van Rijswijk, nog niet wetende wat ik er mee zou gaan doen. Mijn werktafel ligt nog steeds helemaal vol met van alles en nog wat, ook de boekjes die ik pas heb afgemaakt. Zo kwam ik op het idee om een opbergmap voor deze boekjes te maken. Sommige er van zijn namelijk zo teer dat ze voorzichtig opgeborgen moeten worden. Het helpt me nog niet om nieuwe inspiratie te vinden maar ik ben in ieder geval weer even bezig…..
Today I was just playing a bit in my study. I didn’t had a real plan, that’s because I have too many things on my mind at the moment. Yesterday I was with a stand on the market all day, because of the election campaign for the local council that is on 3 March. I had the feeling that after 3 March I got plenty of time again but now that our Government has fallen it looks like we can go on with our election contest till June!!!! There is so may happening at the moment that I really find it difficult to concentrate. So I was stitching some of the fabrics from Rijswijk, not really knowing what to do with it. My work table is still full with all kind of material, and als with the books that I recently finished. So I came with the idea to make a sort of bag for this books to store them. Some of them are so delicate that they need to be stored very carefully. It doesn’t help me to find new inspiration, but at least I am busy….
