Toen we een paar weken geleden bij Liesbeth waren om onze komende tentoonstelling te bespreken heb ik deze vlieseline bij haar gekocht. Op de verpakking staat dat je er ook op kunt printen, dat maakte mij een beetje nieuwsgierig en besloot er eens mee te gaan experimenteren. Geen enkel probleem de vellen rolden makkelijk door de printer, maar hoe watervast is de inkt eigenlijk? Volgens mijn echtgenoot zou de inkt vast en zeker los laten zodra er verf op waterbasis op zou gaan. Ik laat me makkelijk uitdagen, dus dat wilde ik zeker weten. Ik heb acrylverf verdund met een heleboel water en dit voorzichtig met een doekje op het vlies gedept. De inkt kwam er niet af!!!! Deze week wil ik ook een beetje gaan experimenteren met het overbrengen van foto’s en transparanten. Dit zijn de eerste resultaten. Nadat de vellen met tekst goed waren gelukt ben ik verder gegaan met een foto, ook dit printte heel mooi. Leuk speelgoed dus. Al weet ik nog niet precies wat ik er mee ga doen.

The package said it was printable, that made me very curious and I decided to experiment a bit. No problem at all, the sheet went easily threw the printer, but I wondered how colour fast the ink was? According to my husband, the ink would definitely come off as soon as it came in contact with water based paint. I am always in for a challenge, so I wanted to know for sure. I diluted acryl paint with a lot of water and carefully applied (dab) it with an old rag. The ink didn’t came off!!! This week I also want to experiment with transferring pictures and transparencies. These are the first results. After the sheets with text worked so well, I tried to printed a picture on the sheet, this also worked well. Very nice to play with. Although I am not sure how I am gonna use it.
